There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us.
As local farmers, we have had and seen our fair share of tragic events which have changed peoples lives forever. A storm destroying an entire crop, the loss of a spouse to a farming accident, a child born with an illness whos family can not financially afford the cost of medical services.
Live happens to all of us, and most stories are only known locally. This is when the local community comes out to help. Sometimes, this is all that is needed. Other times, a whole lot more is needed. Farming Hearts of Love, Inc. was founded specifically for this in mind. We look for the root of the problem and help where we can, or direct people to the best solution.
It is hard for people to ask for help, us included. These are the times when it takes hearts full of love to reach deep, and reach out and help another individual or family. It makes life easier when you do not have to haul the whole burden on your own shoulders.
We decided to start within our own community and hope to branch out to other small communities to help where we can. Just like when one farmer needs help getting their crop in, other farmers come to their aid, fire up the combines and get it done.
The mission of Farming Hearts of Love, Inc. is to help where, when we can. Supporting a small school, a family in crisis, being the helping hand to someone in need. Farming Hearts of Love, Inc. has one goal, make a difference when a difference is needed.
A small donation can go a long way when it is combined with other small donations which will make a HUGE difference in the life of another.
We select our beneficiaries through a voting process and work to support a specific goal. We strongly believe in partnerships with local businesses who are willing to donate time not just money.
The belief of throwing money at a problem without follow up tends to create bigger problems. The saying to "Give a person a fish, they eat for the day. Teach a person to fish, they eat for a lifetime!" holds true.
Some problems seem like a mountain towering in front of you, when really it is not much bigger then an ant hill. We know facing things by yourself is so much harder, when you have help to get you over the hill. "Many hands make less work." is a saying we like to live by.
We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line. If you are able to donate money, time, or expert advice, we would love to hear from you. If you know someone in need, please send us some information!
